I was honored that Jesse Harms, someone who I think is a great songwriter, asked me to play drums on this solo record of his. For those of you who are unaware, Jesse’s also played with and written songs for Sammy Hagar, REO Speedwagon, Patty Smyth, Eddie Money and many others.

For this project, he decided, as the title of the album suggests, to release his versions of some of his best songs, including several that he had hits with such as “Walk on Water” by Eddie Money and “Make Me A Believer” by Patty Smyth.

He brought the basic tracks over to my studio and over the course of two days, we did the drum tracks for all 11 songs that appear on the record. I believe the tracks for some of them were compiled from his original demos and he just refined them and then added various overdubs, vocals, etc., as he saw fit.

This is one of my favorite records that I’ve been a part of. I hope you enjoy it!
